Foreign Missions

Board of Foreign Missions

The Board of Foreign Mission seeks to advance the Gospel through aiding underprivileged Baptist churches and Baptist organizations on foreign soil to engage in effective administration, evangelism, discipleship and outreach. To that end we seek to provide training, resources, and ministry teams that come along side such churches to maximize efforts to carry out the Great Commission of Jesus Christ.

Union Baptist Fellowship is well aware of Matthew 28:18-20, whereas Jesus the Master Teacher shares with the disciples that all authority is given unto me in heaven and in earth – Jesus extort them to Go ye therefore and teach all nations baptizing them in the Name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you and lo I am with you always – even to the end of the age Amen.

This has been a key component for the church throughout all ages whereas many have embraced this exhortation but to the extent it has only been extended unto the local community.   Therefore, it is the desire of Union Baptist Fellowship not only to be a local outlet unto the community to which it serves but to extend our boarders as in Acts 16:9-10

A vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, beseeching him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us. And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavored to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us to preach the gospel unto them.”

Likewise, we must endeavor to go into communities that have not been readily accessible.  Brothers and Sisters we are to do this through,

  • Active participation by way of partnering with local congregation (s)
  • Promoting Christ through Biblical Literature
  • Supporting Local Churches in addressing some of their immediate needs
  • Corporately connecting with other Entities already establish in the work

Namely: Pastor Caleb Lucien of New Jerusalem Baptist Church Pigon, Haiti; Hosean International Ministries and Pastor Alvin G. Francies, Jr., who is President and Founder of Acts Thirteen Global Ministries.

Therefore, as we lead the Foreign Mission Ministry of the fine organization, Union Baptist Fellowship, we petition the support of all member churches to give two hundred dollars

($200.00) per year.  And due to our late start, we implore that now you would make a sacrificial seed offering of any amount at this time to earnestly meet the do the work we have set forth to accomplish in this ministry.

Sincerely,
